Unlike many who pass through the doors of A&E, our visit this time was a favourable one. To compliment The Leith Agency’s wider Seasonal Flu campaign, we set out to capture the hospital environment in this CLC to highlight the severity of flu. Pick an unpredictable environment; pair it with a limited time frame and the candid interview of Dr Dara Robinson, and you’ll hopefully get people to get their flu vaccination this year.

Describe it in three words:
Most challenging shoot!
Stand out story:
Filming in a working A&E department and only having 4 hours to shoot everything we needed was certainly challenging! Luckily thanks to an amazing crew we managed to get some really lovely shots. Huge thanks to Vicky for all of her passion and commitment throughout which has resulted in an engaging piece of work that the client is delighted with. The NHS said ‘It looked gorgeous on TV’ after seeing it go out last night. As my last official job as a producer, I’m chuffed to have worked on such a great campaign, let’s hope everyone goes out to get their vaccine!
